Our International judges will evaluate each cat’s health, structure, and temperament, awarding points based on breed standards of The International Cat Association.

🌟 Own a cat? You can enter them too! The International Cat Association welcomes both pedigree and non-pedigree cats to compete for top honors in a fun, friendly environment. It’s a great way to meet fellow cat enthusiasts and showcase your own feline star!

Submission of an entry into TOES and or Show Summary Sheet is your commitment to the total due to the club. Payment is due at the time of submission for current rates and are non-refundable, even if in the event of being unable to attend. Any unpaid payments will be automatically converted to the next payment level and will be subject to a late payment fee after 10/16/24. Delinquent balances after 14 days of closing will be reported to TICA’s executive office for further assistance and potential disciplinary action which may lead to suspension of TICA services and or participation in future events.

• Agility Only Entry (not cometing in Cat Show): $30 per cat, pet day

Driving Information:

We strongly recommend avoid driving near DC / Northern VA during rush hour traffic (6 - 9 am & 4 - 7 pm), especially if you are landing at DCA, IAD or BWI.  Traffic will be easier coming from Richmond International (RIC).  The DC & Northern VA area is known for consistent heavy traffic, we recommend adding at least 1 hour to GPS drive time.  

There are Express Lanes for I-395 & I-95 which end about 25 min north of Fredericksburg, VA.  We highly recommend considering getting an EZ-Pass (or ask your rental car provider for one) as the Express Lane is worth the extra cost.

1. Cages and Supplies: Please contact us should you need assistance with finding a suitable show cage. Two (2) kittens or one (1) cat are permitted in a single  (22 x 22 x 27 ) cage. All cages must be covered on the top and three sides. Please bring your own litter pans, food and dishes. Litter will be provided in the show hall.  Cage spaces are 22”x22”x27” for a single cage and 22”x 44”x27” for a double cage.
2. Exhibitors wishing end of aisle: Please be aware that you may not place your grooming tables, coolers, etc. at the end of aisle due to traffic flow and safety.
3. Household Pets: Household pet kittens (ages 4 - 7 months) and adults (8 months and older) may be entered. All adult HHP entries must be altered (spay or neutered). If you are unsure of the proper color class for your pet, include a full description or a photo (photo will be returned with confirmation).
4. Kittens: Kittens entered for competition must be at least four months old on the first day of the show. Please contact us for further information. TICA litter registration must be available upon request of show management.  No kittens or cats are to be confined to carriers, either displayed or under tables.
5. Benching: All exhibitors will have assigned benching.  Benching requests must be clearly indicated on the summary sheet, and we will try to accommodate all requests.  Otherwise, we will attempt to bench by breed.  No one may change their benching without permission of Show Management. Exhibitors may NOT leave before the advertised show hours without permission from Show Management.
6. Show Rules: This show is sanctioned by The International Cat Association and is subject to their Show Rules and Breed Standards (available from the TICA Executive Office, P.O.Box 2684, Harlingen, TX 78551).  By entering, all exhibitors agree to abide by the decisions of the Show Committee and Judges.
7. Registration: With the exception of preliminary new breeds, advanced new breeds and new traits entries, registration with TICA is not necessary to compete in a cat’s first show, but is required for the confirmation of titles and TICA Regional/International scoring and awards. Pedigreed cats and household pets may be shown in TICA with a pending registration number.  Points may be claimed after the registration number is assigned, but only for the first show where the cat didn’t have a registration number in the catalogue.  Subsequent shows without a registration number will not be scored.  All Korats (kittens, cats, alters) must be TICA registered to be shown.
8. Awards: Awards will be presented in accordance to TICA show rules.
9. Health Rules:  This is a non-vetted show. All cats/kittens entering the show hall should be inoculated against Panleukopenia, Rhinotracheitis, and Calici virus and tested negative for Feline Leukemia. Proof of current rabies vaccination should be available. Any cat/kitten showing signs of contagious illness, ear mites, fleas or fungus will be removed from the show hall, as well as any other cats/kittens exhibiting from the same household.  HHP adults must be spayed or neutered.  All claws, front and back, on all entries must be clipped prior to benching. A cat which is obviously pregnant or lactating will be disqualified.
10. Entry and Summary Information:  Once you enter your cats, all related fees must be paid in a timely manner.  As per the TICA rules, United Cat Club Inc. will not issue any refunds if you or any of the cats entered in our show are not able to attend.   Substitutions are possible until closing date; please contact entry clerk for details. A fee of $45.00 plus any bank fees will be charged on all checks turned for any reason.  Any balances owed to United Cat Club Inc. at time of check-in must be paid in cash.  No checks will be accepted at check-in. Please complete the summary sheet and return with entries and fees. NO REFUNDS. 
11. Clerks & Stewards: Please indicate on the summary sheet if you are interested in clerking. We are always in need of clerks and stewards. Clerks will be paid $40 per day,  Stewards will be paid $25 per day.  Lunch will also be provided. Please do not deduct clerking fees from your entry fees.
12. Show Advertising: Please see our summary sheet for available catalog, website and ring advertisement options available. 
13. New Exhibitors:  We warmly welcome you to our United Cat Club Inc. Show!  Please indicate on the summary sheet that this is your first show.   You may request to be benched with an experienced exhibitor if you so desire.  For more information on how to register your cat(s) and/or kitten(s), contact the TICA Executive Office at (956) 428-8046. 14. Exhibitor Conduct: United Cat Club will enforce TICA Show Rules Article Ten - Responsibilities of Exhibitors. During the show, no exhibitor shall harass or threaten other exhibitors, judges or guests. While in the show ring, exhibitors shall not make audible derogatory remarks about other exhibitors. The show committee, at its discretion, may refuse to accept any entry if prior conduct of the entry and or exhibitor is detrimental to the best interest of the association or the welfare of cats or the club and/or its show.
15. Hold Harmless Policy: By entering this show, the exhibitor named on the entry form/summary sheet holds harmless United Cat Club Inc., The International Cat Association (TICA), claims, or theft as a result of any action/conduct related to the operations of this show. The opinions expressed in publication are those of its authors alone and do not reflect the views of The International Cat Association (TICA).
